Cole Hamels Review

Picked him up & played a RS game with him on HOF difficulty against a WS player. Very impressive. He put in a complete game with 8 strike outs & gave up 1 run (Trout Bomb out of the zone). Very accurate & easy to pitch with. The circle change/cutter combo is deadly against righties. I’ve been looking for my 5th starter & think I found him. You can have a seat Hal...A+ card.

Good to hear. I picked him up too and have yet to try him. Always like a good cutter/curve lefty. Even better when he has a great change.. which of course, Cole is famous for

I've always loved Cole hamels in the show except last year,he always got rocked...the last year online franchise was a thing I joined a league as the Phillies an he went 10-0 for me nobody could hit him...I hope he is really good this year I need a good lefty in my rotation

Let us know if you feel the same about him after more than a few games, and not after just one game. Good to hear you have a good start with him, but sustaining those type of stats after a few games gives it more validity.

No you’re absolutely right...I just know I personally can usually tell right off the bat if a pitcher just feels good to me & if I’m gonna be able to have success with him, That’s all.

The cutter is really good this year, could be the difference from last year when he got rocked. I picked him up last night, will use this weekend. I’m hoping he’s the new Greinke from 19.

He was quite effective for me last year, I’m currently working the market to get my stubs back up to get him. Being a Phillies fan, I just used mine recently on Bohm and Howard, so got to get the bankroll up again.
