I have owned every single show game that has come out and never really understood the hype around using a monitor. Bought one three weeks ago and oh my God... it absolutely changes the game and your ability to time up the ball. I didn’t even think it was possible because I was so used to the horrendous reaction time on a television and was striking out so much.
The point: if you play this game a lot, dropping a couple hundred dollars on a monitor is so worth it.

It’s worth it if you have an older tv without game mode for sure.
Most newer tv’s with game mode are good enough and aren’t that far behind monitors tbh.
