Im no Dev of the game, and I have my suggested tweaks, but come on man, at some point you have to be ok with it. Every small adjustment one way or another upsets people as much as every slight rule change in real life upsets 50% of the fans. It is what it is. Its so hard to compare this to real life. Sh*t happens in real life too. Bad games happen. Worse teams win sometimes. [censored] pitchers get CGSO's. Also what doesn't happen in real life: All star God teams where everyone in the lineup is a HOF power hitter... if there were a team like that... i would suspect that team would be launching HR's worse than this game does. Not against making suggestions, but I am starting to feel for these dev's that just cant win. there is no way to satisfy everyone.

I think there are a lot of people that would like SDS to market their product with a disclaimer that this is a game..not a true competition.
The cards you can buy don't really give you any sort of advantage. Here is how the pitching/hitting really works, so don't ever feel bad that it isn't realistic. It's not your talent or lack of that steers the game. It's mostly a randomized set of switches and scripts in the software that determine outcomes. Quite often with very little consideration to your controller input.
If the marketers would do that, I would have complete and total empathy for the developers. But, obviously, that ain't going to happen and I wouldn't expect them to do that.

But, the fact do remain...homeruns are hit in this game at a pace so far out of the realm of MLB possibility that it stimulates hateful posts and silly replies like yours followed by further snide remarks by yourself.
I would love to be writing posts praising and loving this game. Just can't. It doesn't stimulate that type of reaction, only the regret of lost time given to a game that disappoints with it's nonsensical AI interference.

Dude, go spout off to someone else. I never posted anything about loving the game or any of that. I just said the OP's game was totally fine in results and quite accurate to lots of results IRL... Gibsons HR off Eckersley in the 88 World Series was exactly as you described. Slider away, and he is on his front foot, rolls his wrist over on a one handed finish, and hit it out to right.
And, that happened once that I know of. Name a couple other examples of that one? I'm sure it "might" have happened other times, but I don't recall it. You?
It's just one of the very many insanely rare anomalies that rarely, if ever, happen in the real MLB that happen in MLB the hit Show quite often.
I see players that are fooled, or have poor swings result in HRs far too often IRL. Product of small parks, increased velocity, juiced balls, and stronger players.
Just look at that Chris Davis HR around the 2:10 mark. That is almost exactly what is being described, and this was a walkoff!

Not looking for a fight at all. Just so irritated at this game I paid $99 for I'm single-handedly trying to squash any comments that represent it differently than what it is. It's not a simulation and anyone that tries to make it so by comparing it to real life MLB I will be willing to debate. That's all.

Have you filled out the game play surveys? At least that way you're sure of giving feedback to the developers instead of airing out your grievances in a forum.

Everything is still better than good and oddly my fielding somehow got worse. I haven’t had a problem for a while but my outfielders wouldn’t even pick up the ball. Base running also acted weird af.

The just did a super secret patch on knuckleballers so it’s certainly happens from time to time.
They didn’t announce a change in CPU hitting recently but they seem much more aggressive and there for harder to K in the showdown moments. I don’t think I failed a strike out 1-3 players in whatever innings missions all year until this week and every single one seems harder than before.
