They finally made a playable version of this game. No 102mph dominance by MiLB players. Pitch speeds are decent and the timing windows are better. This is what we’ve been asking for win or lose. Just played a few games of RS and won one and lost one. Both were very fair. HRs and hit varieties were plentiful. Games fun again, thankfully.

Just personally this entire year I’ve never praised them for the hitting engine. I can tell you from my experience so far it’s been much better. You can actually put bat on ball in this patch. I’m sure there’s gonna be some “come back logic” that people claim is prevalent. I gave up a two run bomb to lose the game in the ninth with mariano Rivera but at least the game was fun. We both had a bunch of hits and it was a good one. I’d take that over a strike out fest any day. You should play and give us your thoughts.

I’m still skeptical. Hall of fame plays fine, but I’m concerned about flailing foul tips when people are very early.
On all-star.... I think I’m going to have to power swing so my pci doesn’t take up the whole strike zone and give boatloads of good/okay on good/perfect placement. I played a friendly and had 8 good/okay on practically perfect placement. Absolutely stupid.
Need more of a sample size playing RS on HOF before I make a full determination. All-star is garbage though, as always.

Opinions of the patch depend if it is coming from someone who just won or lost.
For real though, the patch is a definite improvement

Yeah, look at your pci overlapping the strike zone.

I can tell you from my experience on All Star there haven’t been an overwhelming amount of foul balls. I think it’s been just more good pitches/not so great swings put into play for outs.

Yeah dude I really don’t like it it’s line out or homer.

This game is a homer in fest. Played a game I won 11-7, every run was on a homer in. Yeah we both had base hits but 18 runs were from the long ball. It’s still full of good okay on center pci. So all they did was increase exit velocity,s so good goods are homeruns.
