Making starters relievers??

Imo it's a great idea. However they need to reduce stamina regeneration by at least 50%
Yes, this is the problem, there needs to be consequences for doing it, not just take it away. I dont do it online, because its frowned upon, but I like it offline vs CPU.

Played a guy in the Event earlier that threw 4 SP at me. DeGrom Sale Verlander Kluber.
Lol ridiculous
I don’t think it’s as ridiculous in the event considering the stupid 3 batter rule that wasn’t scaled down for a 3 inning game.

I'm talking about rank seasons 9 inning games

My idea regarding starting pitchers in relief is to eliminate the ability to bring in a guy from your rotation, but to compensate for this allow the long relief slot to be filled by a starter. Slow starter regeneration rate and have the long relief slot act the same as a starting pitcher in regeneration sense.

Theoretically I guess I could probably use 9 pitchers every game, and just keep the 5th starter for an extra inning game in case it goes 17 innings or something. Hmm...
-
I think they could fix the issue by giving starting pitchers a separate "Relief Pitcher" energy bar. If used in relief they are subject to the same low energy given to relief pitchers. You could use them in relief for an inning or 2, and still have them as starters, but you would not be able to use them in relief every game like it is now. Right now I can use a starter in relief every game if I want.
-
So when a starter is used in relief, they would lose energy on both bars, but the energy given them in a game as a relief pitcher would come from the relief energy bar. Conversely, when used as a starter the energy given to them would come from their starter energy bar. So, I guess starting pitchers would need two stamina ratings. One as a starter and a lower one as a relief pitcher.

so then let's throw realism out the window. You could have Corey kluber pitch seven innings and then the next game he can pitch three innings relief it's so ridiculous and during the same game is starting pitcher energy would be rejuvenating.

No. He would lose his relief energy as well when starting.

You quoted me and forgot the read the part where a starting pitcher would lose energy on both bars at the same time.
