Be honest: Do you have fun playing online?

When i can catch fastballs, yes. When I can't its miserable.
-
In my current slump the answer is no.
But normally, It is a love-hate relationship. -
Events and BR, yes. RS, no.

I agree with that. I got tired of facing Kluber.
I tried the new event and one the first starters I faced was...Kluber..FML -

I agree with this. A change to pitcher stamina/energy regeneration will fix RS easily. I honestly don’t mind starters coming out of the pen. I just hate that its ONLY Kluber/Newhouser/Oswalt/Pearson. That fix alone will make RS much more enjoyable

I plead the 5th
LOL, understandable!

I enjoy one or two games from time to time, but can't play online all day like I did on 2019.
-
I enjoy a game or two but I've realized the game gets stale and frustrating if you play it too much. It's fun for a few hours but not as a game to completely dive into.

My answer is no. It's frustrating, stressful and at times downright miserable when someone cheats or the game freezes, which happens far too often. Would be interested to get everyone else's thoughts.
As I stated in a previous post, I do different things to make the game enjoyable to me. I've always love competing against real people online but only with a level playing field. Win or lose that level playing field just doesn't seem right anymore. I have now found fun in dropping as low as I can and doing different things like putting an all gold lineup and other different lineups. If I need 3 RBI's with silver players I will load my lineup with silver players and try to accomplish that goal. If I need 8 innings with Pirate pitchers I will try to do that. Let me tell you trying to pitch with Pirate pitchers was a tough chore.
So I needed Cubs innings and 3 silver rbi's so first game I loaded 6 silvers including Schwarber along with Baez and Contrares. Obviously got the Cubs innings but only 2 silver rbi's. Next game I was going to get one silver rbi and quit. Got that early but my opponent was from Florida (again assuming he was from there since I think a lot of people put their city or state and his connection was awful which also screams Florida) and he was throwing Oswalt in one of those games he looked like he was throwing 120. Wanted to win that simply because of his poor internet. It was extremely challenging with all the bs but very satisfying to hand him a loss. I had my mind set on quitting but getting matched up with someone of that quality of internet just made me change my mind. I couldn't have got through that game against a god squad on the higher levels even if I would have had my starting lineup playing.

Yes. I love this game.

There isn't a much better feeling than being down 3-0 in a RS game going into the 8th only to pull together a rally and win 4-3. Gets the blood flowing. Keeps me coming back for more

Built in Come back logic won it for you, not skill.
-
Yes I do
-
Like a few have said here I’ve loved playing events but really don’t enjoy RS right now. I think it’s a combination of quicker 3-6 inning games, different lineup construction, easier (possibly better) rewards than getting to WS, and, maybe above all, I’m tired of facing Kluber every game.

Exactly why this game plays the way it does. A couple errors and a few hung pitches forced by the game and little billy is back in it. Player retention, plain and simple.

Not really but mostly because my connection seems [censored] no matter how I set up my router , dns, etc.

Not at all. But most video games are like that now. Seem to have forgone fun to give people something competitive to do so they don’t have to go outside and interact with people or accomplish anything in life.
If you have to win a game to have fun the game isn’t fun. Winning is a nice hit of dopamine to the brain in whatever you’re doing. But most people aren’t having fun during the actual act of playing.
-
No. If I want to watch real baseball I watch it on TV. I don’t want to play a video game that wants to simulate every thing. Every aspect of gameplay is being controlled too much by simulation. Tone it down and let the better player win without having to defeat the simulation on top of the opponent and this game would be ok.
