Here's Proof Outfield Is Still An Issue

In the first clip, Mookie Betts, who btw without question is probably one of the best diamond defensive players with 97 FLD 99 REAC attributes, has a ball bounce off his back shoulder. In the instant replay, you can see he gets there in plenty of time, looking towards the ball the entire way, and I just can't see this happening in real life.
In the second clip, what do you mean "it's in there, base hit?" First of all, why is the ball marker blinking 'red' suggesting that I dive for the ball? I get there in plenty of time, and again, you see that instead of catching what should be a routine popup, he just purposely lets the ball drop right in front of him.
In the last clip, it wouldn't let me record in real time, but it did let me record the instant replay. Same thing happened. but in different game, where the ball marker was blinking 'red' suggesting I dive, but as you can clearly see, I didn't have to, and instead of catching the ball, he just lets the ball drop in front of him.
And you wonder why people are frustrated with gameplay, that needs obvious fixes, but instead, gets no attention.
-
Yeah balls at the warning track are an issue but throughout the field I have not seen that many errors like before. They have to fix this issue, it has cost me a couple fo runs.
-
You are using a submariner CAP as an SP, no one cares your OF dropped the ball, in fact this is called poetic justice. Hope it happens 10 more times.
-
when indicator flashes red,it's not to suggest a dive,it's to signal it's dropping fast and very difficult to catch, you can catch them if you are in front of the spot.
-
Submarine CAP?
How pathetic.

What does that have to do with the topic of the post?
-
I'm sorry the game does not work the way you want it to.
There is nothing broken or needing fixing here.
Animations are not always a Picture Perfect Reflection of real life. They are an illustration of random AI algorithms that sometimes result in even the best players making an error and/or (as appears to have happened here) failing to catch a ball near/about to be off the wall that is a very difficult play.
And you simply don't understand what the red circle means.
But you seem determined to stick to your guns that the game is "broken". So leave. Go do something else. Have a nice life.

If you watch the video he's using a submariner CAP... He's complaining about things functioning incorrectly as he uses a submarine CAP...

I've sinced changed my CAP, to overhand pitching because I feel it's more effective for me. But as previously mentioned, it has nothing to do with the topic at hand. But what it does show, is that you're a little whiner.

Now that's pathetic.

You're whining about me using a submarine CAP at the time. This is you, "You are using a submariner CAP as an SP, no one cares your OF dropped the ball, in fact this is called poetic justice. Hope it happens 10 more times."
Quit whining, here's your pacifier, now be quiet.

I not whining, just pointing out you're a total cheeseball and there's zero sympathy for you.
Go ahead and use your submariner, if I ran into you in RS I'd smoke you because people that do that stuff have to rely on cheese and not skills.
I'm not complaining you are using a submariner, I'm pointing out that your are using one -- you're the epitome of a cheeser, and you get no sympathy for your dropped ball.
So stop projecting and carry with crying about dropping your fly ball.

That's like saying anybody who uses a CAP is a cheeser, whether a SP, infielder or outfielder. Everybody has access it to it dummy, I personally think it's easier to hit off submariners as part of the reason why I changed it. Just because you can't hit submariners, don't attack me for it.
You obviously don't even know what you're talking about, I wasn't looking for any sympathy, just pointing out that the outfield is still broken which has absolutely nothing to do with submariners. You're such a helmet.
Oh, look at that, two topics listed above mine in the forum titled, "My CF Refused to Catch A Flyout." I'm pretty sure he doesn't use a submariner, and yet the outfield problem still exists.

You shouldn't talk about hitting though, you're under 500 this season and have a .221 average... No wonder you're relying on cheese

Oh look, it's notorious' cheerleader who decided to chime in. He even wore his lipstick and brought his pom poms, how cute.
He's such a ditz and fits the cheerleading role perfectly since he doesn't understand that I used a submariner just for a few games, and have switched to overhand pitching since then.

The random AI algorithms is what’s wrong with this game, especially when it overrides user input.
