Team Affinity Exchange Point Question

Do we lose all affinity exchange points over the required 50k or does it get applied to the next 50k? I thought any overage past the 50k was applied to the next affinity, but the last couple exchanges I did definitely didn't apply any points over 50k towards the next level... Not sure if this has always been the case or if it was patched recently?

If you're talking about if you exchange a card that is worth 60k in exchange points; no it does not carry over.
You lose anything over the 50k.

Thanks! That's kind of dumb. I don't understand why they have cards that are worth 100k exchange points, like Jeff Bagwell, if you're only going to get credit for 50k...

Because there could be 100k exchanges at some point in the year.
