Universal DH...?

DH= More good/okays

I love having the pitcher in the lineup. Adds more strategy to the game

I do like that part of it but I have so many wasted bats on my bench that it would be nice to rotate those cards
-
They don't even use DH in moments between 2 AL teams, so I am going to say no, they will not.

This and creates the need for a deeper bench. Deeper bench means more variety of players.

F&#K the DH!

I agree, but its it's clear its going to happen. Been saying it for years. Not saying it will be this year, but its going to happen. But I really hate it. I grew up just outside of Detroit and so as a kid I liked it, moved to ohio near Cincinnati and became a Reds fan, I learned how much better the game is without it. I actually struggle watching the Reds when they play in an AL park.

I’m pretty sure I remember the devs saying that once there was a league-wide DH, they would add one to DD.
-
Whether you’re for or against, it’s just a matter of time before universal DH
-
The DH should have been in both leagues years ago. Nobody wants to see a pitcher hit.

Tell that to Bumgarner and Greinke.

I still don't want to see them hit. Even the best are terrible lol
Bumgarner is a lifetime 46 OPS+

It would never happen, but I’d prefer an 8 batter lineup over of a DH altogether. The DH in theory adds more offence and would never be removed, but it’s a completely made up position. An 8 man lineup also turns over quicker and allows more PAs. In my ideal world, the 8 batter lineup would have been instituted in ‘73 instead of the DH.

I grew up with the DH and always liked it when it was used for an older guy that could still rake, but couldn't play the field anymore. The way its used now as a rest day I really don't care either way.
I have always liked the two leagues having different rules, always made the World Series interesting.
-
I don't like it, but I've known it's inevitable for awhile, so I'll just have to suck it up and get over it.
-
Starting pitchers are beginning to become a thing of the past, qualifying for a QS is becoming rare. Might only see 1 AB anyway, relief pitchers aren’t going to bat.
Players with 200 plus innings pitched
2019 15
2015 28
2010 44 -

With a DH, we wouldn’t have one of the greatest moments, and one of the fastest selling Topps cards in history.
You may know him as... Big Sexy

They already have a DH in MTO so programming it over to DD shouldn't take too much extra work. But who knows for sure?
-
It's be nice if they had a DH and No DH lineup option depending on what team you play. That would be precise to real life.
