Defensive statistics are still in their infancy in being able to successfully gauge players, especially those that end up playing multiple positions.
(I keep going back to Acuña for my examples because I'm a Braves fan, but im sure theres examples everywhere.)
Acuña grades much better as a corner OF playing primarily in right with his cannon arm, prior to this year he played a lot of innings in CF because we needed him to. This year we added Pache to the roster and he's been touted as mini-Andruw, so Ronald finds his home in RF.
SDS still lists him as CF, Pache is in right when you play the Braves CPU.
Acuña has hit in the lead off spot since early 2019.
He hits 3rd or 4th when you play vs the Braves CPU.
Like its just basic stuff that bother me like that. I know most line ups are kinda fluid but the dude literally leads baseball in lead off HR's over the last 3 years.
