Upping the exit velos was the right way to fix the hitting. Haven't seen nearly as many good/okays, but when i do they are at least more realistic to how I think the ball should have been put in play.
Not thrilled with pitching, the strike zone and check swings, but ill take a correction to the hitting for the time being.
this seems like the simplest thing thing that can be fixed in the game... and yet the game has been out over a month and still hasn't been fixed
Is it me or does a 94mph sinker feel significantly faster than a 94mph fastball, and a 94 mph cutter is significantly slower than both?

Stubs and XP are up to 150 and 900 for the none elimination showdowns. You start with runners on base for most of the challenges and either have the lead or are tied.
First boss for me was Irsinghausen down 2 with 12 outs and you start with a runner on second...
Always on a delay and then do the opposite of what you tell them to do on the base paths.
completely agree.
Same thing here. Haven't spent a dime this year or worked the market at all really. I've been fortunate with pack pulls and with FotF cards there's no real reason to spend money if you're good at Showdown.
This years game also just has too many flaws in it for me to waste money on it.
No. Because I'm trying to win and want my best team on the field until i get to WS

One thing i noted right away, most of the hitting ones you start with a guy on base. I will agree they are generally easier and faster. I'm working through NL right now. One of the 2nd tier ones for example was to score 3 runs in 3 innings...but they start you with bases loaded in the 1st. I hit a single and then a HR and was done...easy peasy. But even without the HR I could have manufactured at least 2. The toughest was the 1st one so far, scoring I think 2 runs off Sixto Sanchez. There was a moment against the Brewers where you needed 3 hits AND 3 strikeouts, so one side of the ball wasn't a complete waste of time. Also worth noting, you get 2 diamonds right off the bat instead of 1...which is generally nice. I went Yelich and Rollins

This as well is a huge help! And even the second boss is on Veteran...
now that this post has taken off, I don't have anything to promote- but thanks for reading.
I've never understood the BR rating modifier... what's the difference of 1200-1400 and 1900+ etc?
My options were all 85-89.. top card was Sale.
I only have found this true when I try to throw 3 Changeups in a row... actually now that i think about it, everytime i triple up on a pitch it goes down the middle... weird
@CEZdominatesAD said in Card you can't touch a thing with.:
Lol unfortunately trout for me. Iām hitting 250 with him. Smh.
I'd guess that hitting .250 on HOF with trout is about average considering his vision.
99 Posey. I'm pretty sure my first 100 at bats with him i hit .158. Thankfully its up to about .220 now, but he's been moved to the bench for Biggio.
So basically you're a 900k- a million stubs away from finishing the collections... keep playing the game and hope you get lucky with some of the packs from affinities and events. Otherwise, you'll have to work the market a ton.
I'd go after the AL teams first just because I like Biggio alot better than Sheffield.
Including a few event games, I'm 15-1 with Lodolo with an ERA under 2. He's by far my best pitcher and avoids hard contact for the most part. His motion is a little funky which is what i think helps him the most.
Where do you see the PCI Rating?

I like him a lot. He doesn't throw extremely hard, but he has a slightly funky motion that reminds me a little of Alex Wood. Good pitch mix too.
