I keep getting to the 6th or 7th inning and then giving up a home run every time.
It's awful, because his control is absolutely brutal early in his career with Cleveland.
I am about ready to give up on evolving this card.

I am not exaggerating. Three extra base hits. Wound up racking up over 11,000 XP. I don't know why, but I refused to give up. All for three lousy team affinity points. I tried EVERYTHING. Power swings. Contact swings. Got ahead in the count a ton. Didn't matter. The computer was constantly giving me okay contact on good or perfect swings. Ridiculous. Seriously, what an absolute joke. Go ahead, troll away. I'm not bad at the game.

I've had to file a bug report because I beat the Cubs in Play vs. CPU All-Star twice and it didn't give me credit either time.
That sucks, big-time.

Never said it didn’t
Then why even bother posting? What did it contribute to my actual, real, experience?
@bhall09 said in How many gold would it take to get FOF Gallo:
15 84s plus 5 other silver cards.
That's pretty steep. You're talking 20-30 K right there, ugh.
This card is the bomb. 102 MPH heater as a starter. Nasty breaking stuff, too.
100 times more errors this year, and don't get me started on the flyball glitch everyone already knows about.
I am all for there being more errors, but they are so frequent now they don't even come close to reflecting realistic fielding percentages whatsoever.
@T-Rox_09 said in 93 tony gwynn and 91 roberto alomar:
Gwynn just did it again on a routine fly ball. What the hell is going on with this Fielding?
Lost two games on All-Star in the 9th inning because of the fly ball glitch, both times I needed those wins to get Granderson.
I eventually won on the third try, but it is soooo frustrating to lose a game the same way multiple times in a row. I cannot understand why this isn't patched yet.
@Duffman180 said in Defeat CPU on All Star Difficulty:
I can barely beat the CPU on Rookie right now, looks like I wont be finishing these missions.
You need to be super, super patient hitting. And maybe turn on guess pitch.

Any two ball count or two strike count makes the pitchout and quick wind up to home stop so they are safe to run on. I don’t take an extra step though so that may change the equation. Long as u don’t take a lead and it’s two balls or two strikes ur good.
It shouldn't be this way. No realism whatsoever.
Struck out all three batters as required against the Orioles in one of the Kerry Wood missions, got no credit for it afterwards. Granted, it's an easy mission, but there were two other bugs in the exact same mission.
Reported them to SDS, but figured I would share. Also, my team abbreviation was next to the Orioles logo prior to entering the challenge, and during the challenge and postgame, the CHC Cubs abbreviation was next to the Orioles' logo.
Three bugs in the same newly released challenge is not a good look, fellas.

So I've done all 3 conquest maps, beat the showdown, won 10 event games, Granderson moments, and Rangers team affinity, Pudge evolution, got a Cap to gold, yet im still at 291 program stars.
I remember watching the SDS stream saying you could grind stars anyway you want to play. I have put alot of hours in and still not at 300. I believe this needs to be looked at and adjusted its a little excessive
Same here, I am at 241 and beat all the conquest maps, am in the playoffs on March to October, am about to evolve my Eckersley card, and have diamonds at every position on offense and starting pitching, and two bullpen dimonds by only grinding. And I am at Level 62. Yet still only 241 stars. Sooooo stingy so far with the program stars.
Think about that. Level 62,, still only 241 stars.
Oh yeah, and I also beat all the Granderson missions, too.
@TheHungryHole said in Soooo tired of getting thrown out stealing on pitch outs:
SDS broke the game this year that is for sure mate
The pitchouts were like this last year, too.
And I don't try to cheese and steal that much. But the amount of pitch outs by the computer are literally a third to a half of the time you attempt a stolen base. It gets ridiculous after a while.

New content? Dude, the game was just released 5 days ago
Apparently you are the lone person who hasn't been inside almost all day.

Does anyone else feel as if the current map for the program has an added level of difficulty with more teams/strongholds compared to maps for 19s inning programs ?
It was weird, the first day or two I felt this way, then when my team got a little better, I railroaded almost every team I played and beat all three maps.
Beat all the Conquest maps. Am almost done with the Eckersley program. Doing well with my team affinity and have unlocked cards. Am at Level 60 already. Showdown gets old quick.
The lack of a season yet is really making it difficult, too, I'm sure. Hopefully they add some new things to do soon because i actually put the game down today for a long time for lack of things to do. I don't want to just grind out team affinity missions all day.
We all know diamond card odds in regular packs are 1 in 50.
BUT ... do we know if the odds of WHICH diamonds you pull are all the same, odds-wise? Or do they intentionally make the odds way more slim of pulling say, a Mike Trout, knowing its value?
I bet if you asked, they wouldn't tell us straight-up.
Well, at least they were among the first to post any pack odds at all though, unlike slimy NBA 2K.

No handouts. Earn him like everyone else.
Not much earning in opening a pack of virtual cards and getting virtual Mike Trout
I've opened thousands of packs over the years and never once pulled a Mike Trout.
