Vida blue ( i will never take vida out of my rotation. 130+ innings online he has a 2.02 era, hes lights out and still the first pitcher i use when everyone is fresh) -
Future star brendan mckay. Cause we need more future stars, its been awhile!
I hope its bartolo tho that would be really cool
-
I hope so too, grinding prestige stats in rs feels like a chore but I actually enjoy it in events.
Quick counts is a great change up for online play just to speed things up and be able to play so many games quickly, i find it alot more enjoyable how fast games go even when things dont go my way its just on to the next one and try to do better
-
I did the same thing when i finally picked up mantle. Had mantle walker and dawson plus gwynn and davis so trout found bench for a bit. Put him back last night because im having zero success with dawson and he proceeded to go 3-4 with a dinger and walk off double in the 10th, cant see him coming back out anytime soon, hes definitely been my best hitter all year online, i feel his perks make him play way above his actual ratings, if inside edge gets turned back on for the last half of the year he will be an absolute monster
-
Biggio but more for the fact that i used trout for a long time as well as doolittle and wagner from collections. Ive used nothing from the NL other than shef.
Shef is the better hitter but biggio being able to play catcher with his speed and gold d is better across the board in my opinion.
-
Im a fan, hes been really good for me. Took a couple outings to find a good mix with his 3 pitches but hes been lights out since. If he had a change up i think hed be perfect but his slider is slower with lots of movement so it serves as a change of speed. Forkball gets tons of soft contact for me too. Overall id say hes worth getting.
-
Thank you. Very helpful
-
I bought him to try out and gave him 10 games. Huge power but i was always late with him, i found his swing really tough to get to inside fastballs but anything left over the plate gets mashed. His d is incredible and made it really hard to switch him out but in the end he just didnt hit enough for me personally.
-
Online h2h is like triple a baseball and online rs dd is the major leagues. Its not that there isnt good players and good teams in triple a but the talent pool of the majors is just better and deeper across the board. More high end competitive players playing dd raises the level of competition regardless of rosters and ratings. Its not universal that all dd players are better then h2h and vice versa but overall dd is a more competitive experience despite the game play flaws.
Good debate regardless.

Other guys ive used and like alot so far is lou brock and henke from Toronto.
Brock doesnt make my outfield but is a hit machine for me so he will live on my bench as pinch runner and hitter when i need a basehit.
Henke took a couple rs games to get used to because of only having 3 pitches but once i learned to mix them right hes been lights out for me.I like Brock, his card last year was great but he wouldn't make my OF either, and I have Lofton on my bench. He's been solid for me and is a great pinch runner. I haven't heard anything about Henke though.
Henke is really good and worth getting in my opinion. Hes tall so his fastball down mixed with the forkball is really hard to time up and on top of it his slider is slower with lots of movement to keep guys off balance. The only thing missing to me is a change up but for just an inning i can count on him at end of games and thats really tough this year.

Brett for 3rd over killebrew but killebrews bat is ridiculous for me, everything is a bomb but its a slow swing. Brett d is really good and he squares everything up easier then killebrew just less pop.

Just a guess the player program on Tuesday is for a prime ss. My guess is 92 prime alan trammel. Another light hitting ss with terrible xbh moments to finish to get him lol
That was my guess too. We would have both been wrong.
Say hello to Lefty!
Ya i saw it was supposed to be a veteran but it went over my head.
Im happy its a pitcher, should be easy to finish -
I saw somewhere it was supposed to be a former mvp so i would guess bryant or trash can altuve to complete the trash can astros collection.

Is that Jackie program as big of a grind as I think it is? I haven't even started it aside from maybe getting 5-10 points accidentally and I'm not hurting at 2B but I'd like to do it if it's not incredibly long and frustrating.
Its 100% a huge grind but I didnt do it as my primary grind at any point, its daunting to try to attack it all in a night or 2.
The conquest stats i found the most tedious but i just reset the usa map and simmed a couple rounds till i had 15 or so fans and would attack a rockies single square instead of stronghold so it was on rookie, had jackie lead off and quit out after his ab. Took about 40 abs and 3 map resets but it went fairly quickly considering.
The rest of the mission stats just kind of happened thru playing because i have bellinger in my lineup so i got Dodger stats from him and left field stats from trammel.
Took about a week for me to finish off without pressing to finish but it was 100% worth the time. -
Packs alone that program is worth it to finish. Personally i hit well with jakie so he starts at 2nd for me over biggio. His speed is good for tracking down balls in shallow outfield. Worst case hes a good pinch runner with a few different secondary positions for versatility

Pretty sure 90+ live will go up a bit as people cash in investments to buy last of collections. Most live players arent in my squad to replace anyways, they are basically just a way to get mantle and thats it.
Chapman will go up again for that reason too, more people have disposable stubs to buy high end end game cards.I think some of the 90+ that arent live series will go down like hamels, greinke, kemp because those will be replaced for free and dont have much collection or end game value.

Vida Blue ( my undisputed number 1, i hope he gets a better card this year but his 93 plays way above the stats)
Hal
Greinke
Lodolo
Gratarol
