I finally got one to upload at 2p Pacific today. Came back on after being out and now I can’t make any adjustments or upload it (9:30p Pacific).

Sliding into first, pretending to bunt, then pretending to hit, then pretending to bunt, then pretending to hit (repeatedly) (I guess they think I know how to change my fielding options on the fly, I don't), and flippity-flopping around the outfield after they catch a ball, expecting me to make a running error are my main peeves.

Wait, getting no hit in MLB the Show isn’t normal? Uh oh…if I get two or three hits, I feel like prime Tony Gwynn!

I disagree. It plays best at HOF. Actually the best is HOF in events where energy and confidence is reduced.

I have saved video clips of people doing it in the past and sent them in. Problem still remains. It was worse in previous versions.

I want to add to this based on my latest game, btw I won it.

So my opponent struck out 21 times, had 11 balls put in play and 6 were outs, 5 were hits.

I put the ball in play 26 times, 18 outs and 8 hits.

How can I go from 9 runs on 11 hits to only 3 runs on hits in back to back games with consistent input (placement and timing were good about 90% of the time).

This dude almost beat me and I guarantee you he was guessing locations and swinging. SDS has clearly helped this person get to the 790s to 840s. (He was rated 794)

I know it’s typical to say he was using directional/timing but this is what seems to be the case with these guys. All it takes is them timing a pitch that hangs and they’ll usually get rewarded, where if you’re using a PCI, if you’re slightly off, it’s more than likely an out.

Zone is still the better option but it just seems like guys who can’t seem to hit or time anything are using something else. I had a game where I only allowed 4 hits, 18 Ks, but his two hits were perfects. Either he got extremely lucky or just happened to time those up, but no way he put a pci on the ball too.

Sometimes I believe they are zone users that can’t control their pci and get lucky with one location when they get P/P, everything else is always a bloop

Why on earth has SDS not bought the rights to Negro League players and uniforms?

There's no downside. SDS would help teach this generation about an important part of baseball history.

And securing the rights would also help support the families of Negro League stars.

But I think Negro League rights are wrapped into MLB rights now. I could be wrong, but I think I read that somewhere. If so, the show would only have to get the players rights to add these players

Their records count now, but I do not think MLB owns the rights to those names, That would be alittle weird for MLB to say "Yep, all those names are under our rights now!"

Yeah, that's got to be a tricky subject, still I imagine SDS can afford the right of whatever is available. I can't imagine it would be deemed off limits, though some players and estates may choose not to participate like anyone else.

I suck online but since I unlocked Randy Johnson like two week ago I finally played a H2H game earlier and won to my surprise 3-2. Granted my team was far superior to his though and I think I was playing in the 300-400 rank range.

I use each pitcher to their historical strength, try to tunnel pitches and keep guys off balance. Try to the throw the opposite of what they’re expecting at times.

I can’t wait to unlock Randy, big fan of his as a kid (as evidenced by my user name). I still have to complete Angels Braves and Mets. Im so jealous you have him.
