I'm incredibly disappointed that Robert, Kelenic, Carlson, Rutschman, and Lux will all end up having worse cards than worse prospect counterparts on their own team
Hell, Franco might end up outclassed by some FS card on the Rays
I understand the difference between the card types, the top prospects should be the ones getting the juiced FS cards then
I agree, these top 10-15 prospects should have better cards than guys like Mountcastle or Bohm. SDS has gone a complete different direction with these FS cards. Like last year once guys like Vladdy and Bichette got called up, then they got FS cards. I think releasing more of these prospects are fine but just make them Prospect series and have their attributes reflect where they currently rank as prospects.
This makes way too much sense for them.
The content team was supposed to be the bright spot, but so much for that I guess.
The only way to possibly make up for this is if there's some sort of elaborate way to get FS cards for like the top 20 prospects and idk how they'd do that without killing the meta
All I know is that the next stages need to be more interesting than a crappy Dane f’n Dunning.
Don't insult Dane best white sox prospect Dunning

I’m one of the few that’s happy about this actually. I have a full squad of basically prospects and the FOTF FS (Moncada, Albies) it’s kept things interesting for me. I’d be tired of the same old LS cards by now and same old legend cards.
I’ve welcomed this change.
Exactly. I don’t understand why people are upset about usable new cards. I for one don’t really feel like using the same players I’ve been using for the last 3 years. Id rather use a card and get excited about watching the dude next year than use another card of a guy I never saw play and never will.
Because we were led to believe that the diamond prospects were the best cards those players were going to get, especially because there’s a whole collection. Now we get new versions of the same players within like a month for no reason? It’s lazy and scummy, and many people would prefer actual real flashbacks.
I wouldn't have gotten that Gore card if I knew these cards would be coming out, I'd having finished the AL if I didn't lock in Keller, Bohm, Waters, and Kopech

All star has such a tiny skill gap, I hate the difficulty with a passion
-
I've wanted Marquez too, not because he's the right choice but because he throws a 101 sinker as a lefty
-
30+ of these, thought we weren't supposed to be seeing a ton of the same art in lineups this year but now we'll just be seeing a ton of 95+ prospects

I have 11 unlocked, including Buxton
I'd have to say I prefer the Olson, Tatis, Soto, and Yadi (at least on HOF) over BuxtonUmm, yeah, sorry but I am gonna have to say that you arent wrong, but you arent right either. Only Buxton is right. None of those guys plays Buxtons position, none of them near as well, and even though Olson and Soto hit well, they arent "glitched", they just hit well. They actually have GREAT hitting attributes. So no, they arent glitched.
No one but you used the word glitched, these cards are better than Buxton, once he has a 1.500 ops for me then we can have that conversation
I am the threads OP. That was my argument. That Joey Gallo is no longer the Glitch King. Buxton is now better.I am not even arguing FotF cards.
That'd be Austin Hedges then, aka god himself. A player I used on HOF for a good chunk of games last year, who had a 3 homer game for me
That is a true op card, absolute chad
Sounds good, for last year doesnt sound so good so far for this year. Byron Buxton is the answer.
Byron Buxton dreams of being Austin Hedges, so does Michael Nelson Trout
Clearly you don't know what you're talking about
Just because you rhyme doesnt make it right.
Maybe I know something about Buxton that makes others bite?Oh [censored] I wasn't even trying to rhyme but I guess late night posting is just asking for this to happen

I'd agree all of them are great but Yadi is interesting. What makes you say he's up there with the rest of those guys, is there some Cardinals bias involved or do you just really like that card?
Yadi's the most slept on card in the game, that swing is super underrated, idk how but I've gone oppo with him
It's a really strange case of it being a player I really like and pretty much only me falling in love with his swing, I really don't expect anyone else to like that card but he's awesome for me
Tbh I never even tried him, I have Posey and even apart from Posey I think most people will play Biggio or that diamond Sanchez at C. If you then look at Yadis stats, I don't see how anyone would play him regardless of his swing. Maybe I'd consider using the higher 90s card he'll eventually get.
Don't use him, there's better options
He's just seriously slept on and his swing is absurd

Prospect cards, I've already gone through the entire NL to find the prospect that'd be the diamond for each team
Mind sharing?
More prospect cards would be incredibly lame though, and a huge let down.
I don't feel like going through the divisions one by one but the NL West looked like:
Dodgers - Lux (May will be one of the new prospect event rewards)
Giants - Mauricio Dubon
D-Backs - Kristian Robinson
Padres - Patiño
Rockies - Rolison (this'd be a Vlad Jr esk prospect card Aka an 85)
You have no idea how much I hope you’re wrong lol.
Not saying what I hope but it's what I think happens, idrc either way we'll get some good cards
