This took me about 30 minutes. I had probably 20 balls caught at the wall, double digit perfect perfects and then finally got a wallscraper with 110 MPH exit velocity. This moment was miserable and it was clear the sliders were extra tuned for it. A Mantle HR should have been one of the easiest. This is why I hate moments. They are not honest with them. If they want them difficult, just put them on Hall of Fame or Legend difficulty. All this method does is make them frustrating and hurt the experience.

It's because computer pitching paints the edge of the zone and the rookie pci can't reach it well enough for good contact. The biggest difference this year is with cpu pitching. Previous years saw lots of pitches over the middle on rookie and veteran. This year not so much. At least on veteran and above you can reach the edge.

I would like some honesty with them. Make them play true to the difficulty setting. They need to stop adjusting the sliders for difficulty. The defense should match the rating of the card, not make insane plays constantly. Batting and pitching should match up as though you are playing a vs cpu or conquest game.

I had missing items and stubs that I submitted 4/20. They responded 5/17, returned one of the missing items but said they were looking into the rest.
-
I put in a ticket 4/20 54XXX and still haven't received a response other than the initial ticket received. I even replied to it 3 times and still nothing.
-
I had 2 tickets in. One from 4/20 where I am missing approx 30,000 stubs and several lower tier cards that I ended up re-buying. I still have not received a response to this one. The other one was from 4/28 that I put in because I had about 8 levels of xp not count. They responded when they released the thank you bundle saying I could go to the shop and get that bundle.

I got extremely lucky. I assumed I had no chance at getting one so I wasn't even looking. I happened to walk by the electronics counter in Walmart and there was one sitting on the shelf behind the counter so I bought it.

17 days since I submitted my ticket and no response.

I love the idea of moments. To me, reliving and playing big moments throughout history and the season could be very fun. Unfortunately SDS has it screwed up because they mess with the sliders to make them more difficult. It has become frustrating rather than fun.

Their automated ticket received response says 5 business days but I put a ticket regarding missing stubs and items in on 4/20 and another regarding missing xp on 4/26. Neither has received more that the automated ticket received response.

No, last night I did the Huston Street moments and played 1 Ranked Seasons game but my XP didn't move at all.

I agree. I'm sure they will do their normal thing and start listening to all the whiners in these forums and start screwing with stuff and make it worse. At least that's how it's been the past 2 years.

It was this way on the console this morning as well. Before work, I bought and then sold a bunch of cards for profit. Lots of bronze and silver had big enough backwards margin to make profit. I was hoping to get to work and continue but it wouldn't let me login to the market on the website.

I have a PS5 and the only difference I have noticed is that MLB stadiums don't seem as laggy or have seemingly faster pitch speeds like they did on PS4. It was still buggy with online play depending on connection with opponent. I don't feel I am any better or worse on PS5 than I was on PS4.

Content wise, this game is far and away the best ever. Unfortunately, online play is my favorite part of this game and this year's gameplay is competing with 18 for the worst. Playing the computer over and over again is boring. I would probably love showdown and moments if they played honestly. I feel like they are just meant to frustrate you. If they played their normal difficulty without the sliders being screwed up, they would be a lot of fun.

I played Twingaming last year. I hung with him but lost. My favorite was playing JJDaggas and getting him to dashboard and received a bunch of actual voice recorded messages. It was hilarious.

I am with you. This year's gameplay is the worst it's ever been, including 18. Content is amazing but I just don't enjoy playing anymore, especially online. What you described is the norm for me. Hitting is completely random and feels skewed to one side or the other. Pitching is horrendous. I feel like the only control I have on pitching is which pitch to throw. Using pure analog, I will consistently have perfect input and have the ball go over the middle of the plate or be completely wild. This game is usually the only one I play and I am finding myself putting in only a couple hours per week now. It's strange to me because SDS has listened to the fanbase in so many ways and each year, the main cries are for them to make user input matter more but year after year it matters less and less.

There are 2 things that really bother me with this game. The main one is that there are many games where it seems like I have no control whatsoever of the outcome. I usually know inning 1 if I will win or not. These are games where opponent is absolute garbage, swings at everything, yet no matter my input, balls go over the middle when pitching multiple times per at bat and solid contact results in pop flys galore. The other thing is kind of in line with the 1st and that is the pitching. It is near impossible to control any pitcher. The ball rarely goes where I put it. I use pure analog and have good input a minimum of 90% of the time but hit my spot maybe 20% of the time. I feel like hitting is fine if they removed whatever is causing the game to seem to favor one side or the other.

I faced someone a couple days ago that just kept taking step after step in his lead off trying to get me to throw over and when I did, it threw it away every time. No meter, nothing, just a wild throw. I have been playing forever and have had many extra lead pickoff battles and never had this happen. I am suspicious people have found a way to exploit a glitch and force the errors.

I play at Shippet because I feel it plays smoothly and has the best batter's eye. I don't feel like I am better offensively there. In fact, I win more of my games away than I do at home (a lot of them are still at Shippet though)
