I've been intentionally walked by the computer a couple times after getting to 3-0 or starting 0-2 and working to full count. Every time it happens the pitcher is on deck. This one is probably a glitch tho, we all know there are plenty of those.
This has been an unexplained mystery to me since... I think October 2019? Before Covid before all that. Whenever I go to the internet at other peoples houses at disconnects me every few hours. Very annoying since you never know when it disconnects. It happened on both my PS4 and 5. It ended up stopping a few months ago. But it’s hilarious how much more stuff I would have had in 2k20 if this issue didn’t happen.
No pop in that bat, except in the playoffs. Still remember him taking CC Sabathia deep for a slam in the '08 Division Series.
The Kershaw one was a bomb as well.
Loving these Phillies moments.
Just wish they could add the Matt Stairs moon shot off of poor Jonathan Broxton. Guy probably still has nightmares about that one.
That is still in some of us dodger fans bad memories
But those memories are easier to deal with considering the power house LA has today.
We Phillies fans have little to cling to.
I mean, cards on your team that you should just try something else, but deep down you want to enjoy them so your patience is maximized. A couple for me is milestone Christian yelich, love his swing, snd the player..can’t get it going with him though
For a pitcher, I’d say Pedro, I know they did him dirty with his H/9 but I figured he’d be usable, but he’s bp
Though I wasn’t a fan of how he carried himself, he was one of the best pitchers of his generation. Plus, he being a new player in the game, I was hoping he would be great. Like you said, they gave him low h/9 with an easy to read delivery as well.
Nothing wrong with how he carried himself. He was a fiery, cocky competitor. There’s a lot worse around the league
Pedro Martinez is a POS, when he threw Don Zimmer to ground. Lost all respect, he could've handled that situation better.
I agree, and I really thought I had mentioned the Don Zimmer incident. I checked my posts and I guess I never did. Zimmer was in his 70’s! Like I said earlier, I cannot take away his pitching accomplishments, but I don’t like how he carried himself. He could have had more respect for the game.
We need extremes for sure. I'm hoping SDS didn't get the wrong idea about some guys complaining how hard it is. A lot of players just want all prizes that are available for free or as easy as they can get it. They don't really care for playing the game to get them. But us players that play year after year and actually love this game love those challenges. But I guess it does kinda feel like year after year they care less about their die hard fan base.
In my 5-6 years of playing DD this has by far been the easiest year to acquire any and all content. We quickly getting into participation trophy territory IMO. This is coming from someone who has never made WS or 12-0 BR. There should be a few cards that actually require lots of skill/talent ora massive amount of flipping to get.
