I'd love to see Dom Smith get one. He has been very vocal about the racial inequality issues and then had a hell of a doubke header yesterday vs the Yanks. Dom's that dude.

New pack coming soon? -
I just pulled this from a Ballin' Pack!
I have been using Prestige Chipper, Banks, Sheff, and Brett at 3B and they have all been fine.
How does this card play? Should I sell now?
If Tatis gets POTM he should also have 3B eligibility right?
-
I have almost 900k. Thinking of getting one of Sig Feller or FS Mize after the stub sale. I hope some new Beach Ball Packs or Throw Em on the Grill packs come out soon
-
I am doing well. My only gripe is they shoukd consider swapping out RBI and swap in stolen bases for the prestige.
-
Could deGrom be a POTM card possibility?
If so, everytime you pitch with the card, your bullpen has to blow the lead.
-
1990 Future Stars Jerome Walton would be end game
-
So I might as well sell my Sig Mad [censored] and just buy Jesus right? Lol
-
I use Chipper and Brett. However, I feel like Chipper is losing his gusto these days. Time for some fresh blood.
Eyeballing that awards Bryant, but then I say to myself, POTM Tatis is coming soon. Patience my friend.
-
He has been terrible for me. So much so I replaced him with Romo in my RS pen.
Does his prestige card play way up? Really think I should sell em, maybe pickup the 96 Smoltz, and pocket 100k...?
-
I'm usually in the 675 - 850 range on ranked.
I've seen alot of threads on Sig Sale with an overall good, not great concensus.
How about the Sig Feller. I know he is about 250k more, but is he worth the price? Perhaps as a rental to try and overcome the hump and make WS?
I see that 85 control and it looks tempting. I played well with his card in 19.
Feedback is appreciated...thanks

@CHOW88 said in Brett or Chipper?:
I use both, and have both prestiged..
Honestly right now I platoon them... start Brett, lefty pitching, use Chipper.. I did better with the regular brett than prestige, same with Chipper, but Chipper's avg is slowly rising.
Exactly what I do as well

First time I used Hoffman he got lit. Haven't used him again since. Last year I was great with him. His change-up seems to hang too much this year
-
I doubt Harper can replace MVP Trout/Mantle/Walker
I just got Babe Ruth for 1B and Thome is still upset about the demotion
Walter Johnson...really? Yuk.
If it is Goose, I'll gladly take him.
Probably take Frank and run him out there from time to time.

I think the Showdown only gives 70 stars. Do you have any other options to make up the other 5? Might not get you where you need to be...

This Event 3 could use a few more carrots to dangle in front of our noses. Some of us have mastered the art of working from home and playing event games. Lay some treats on us!

With Gagne and Hoffman dropping recently, the bullpen arms are solid as ever.
Here is what I'm rolling with right now...
Dibble - He gives up the occasional long ball, but his stuff is dirty
Fingers - Ol' reliable. Still have under 2 ERA with him
Gagne - Small sample size, but so far so good...real good
Hoffman - Small sample size as well, loved him in 19. Time will tell but he seems like real deal again
Sig Chapman - Dirty. A bit wild, but dirty.
Wagner - Consistent. People are picking up on him more and more.
Britton - I try not to use him, definitely the worst of my lefties. Have more success with him than McGee. Not sure another LH relief pitcher can boot him?
Odd Men Out...
Rivera - I wanted this card to be so good...he has dashes of brilliance but has burned me more than a few times.
Rodney - I miss him. I have a 2.20 ERA with him. I hate his crooked hat, but love that change-up
Eck - Day 1 bullpen arm. Always an Eck fan
-
I used Thor on RS HoF level and he got tagged pretty good. I messaged the guy I played and he said the outlier on his sinker penalizes him since it makes his sinker and FB the same speed. Said all his pitches were flat too. I definitely had more control with him than Nolan Ryan tho.

@cosmicwonders_ said in Spinoff Thread - How To Make the Best CAP:
It's not too late to make one. Low rating doesn't mean anything because the equipment is the boost. Best archetype for SS or C is Balanced, Speed or Fielding. DO NOT go for Power build since you'll have plenty of upgrades via Equipment. Moments/Collections get you to 82 gold, offline innings get you 85 diamond & online innings get you 89 diamond. Go to Inventory -> you can just get all gold equipment for now to save stubs then when you learn more go for diamond.
Equipment boosted stats wont show up on your squad you would have to get to the lineup screen in a Conquest or Extended Play to check it out.
Yes ranked seasons is the only way for online innings.@GiantsXLII said in Spinoff Thread - How To Make the Best CAP:
A spinoff from the do you like CAPs thread. I personally am not a fan, but realize if I want to field the best team I probably should make one. So, I would love some tips and here are a few initial questions I have...
-
Is it too late in the game cycle to make one and boost them? Wouldn't my CAPS initial low rating be a weak spot on my Ranked Season team for a while?
-
What is the best archetype for positions like SS and C?
-
What equipment is necessary? If I am making a SS CAP, do I really need to have too tier catcher equipment?
-
All diamomd bats seem to have the same attribute boost, is this true?
-
Is there a way to get the online innings outside of Ranked Season?
Any other tips will be appreciated. Maybe it's time to get Jake Taylor or Roger Dorn some playing time!
Thank you!
