IF DIRECTIONAL WAS SOME SORT OF CHEAT CODE, EVERYONE WOULD USE IT.
Has no one ever used directional? It does not help you hit.

Usually the stubs you lock in for the voucher don’t really justify the extra profit you’ll make getting a boss quickly.
-
I did it once because my opponent had literally an all left lineup. So I brought in Christ Sale in the second inning.
But i agree, it needs to be taken out, or the starter brought in needs to have low, low, low confidence.
I had a great game going against a guy last night. He took an early lead but I was starting to get to his Roy Oswalt. 8th Inning comes and I’m down by 1 but starting to string together good at bats. He brings in 99 Kluber. It really just sucked the fun out of the game for me you know?
Sure enough, Kluber pitches two scoreless innings for the save.

Is it a completely new card? Or the stats go up on the OG card?
Basically, do stats restart?
-
Twice I’ve pulled my righty starter early in the game (even pitching well) to bring in Chris Sale because my opponent had a stacked lefty lineup.
Both times I regretted it. I think when you bring a starter out of the pen their confidence is low because I normally pitch pretty well with Sale.

If they were to allow us to quick sell locked in cards, watch prices sky rocket as a ton of extra stubs suddenly hit the market.
Not allowing quick selling will keep prices down.

It’s pretty laughable how bad it is right now

Oldest trick in the book. I spam circle every time my opponent pauses

There probably won’t be a better overall catcher this year than that 99 Posey.
-
Now that we can choose our starter, and even bring a starter out of the pen, why can’t we use one as a pinch hitter? I’d love to have Ohtani’s bat available off the bench when he’s not starting.
Is there a way to do this? If not, SDS please patch it in.

It would be cool if you could “buy” your stubs from 19 into 20 at a discounted rate. Like maybe $75 for 150,000 instead of the normal $99.
Will never happen. But would be cool.

He’s obviously not worth that amount, unless you’re just sitting on stubs without anything else to really buy. Can’t take the stubs to 2020 so might as well sell them.
But he is pretty great. Unless you get an opponent who can pick up the slider well. If they can just sit fastball you might get knocked around a little bit

You sure you didn’t switch it to zone or directional by mistake?
-
If stubs never leave the market place. A card that you spend 500 stubs in April, could cost 3000 in September. Think of what happens when there’s a stub sale. Prices go way. Why? Because more stubs are entering the market, people have more to spend. If we went all year without a tax, values would grow and grow and grow and get out of control.
