whats weird is if your really dive with the timing of a normal player they dont penguin slide there feet just practiclly stick in place instead of actually diving its more of a falling over.. I've actually discovered if you move your fielder at the last second towards the ball and arriving to ball at last second I verry very rarely make errors anymore maybe 1 every 3-5games well i watch my oppenents struggle in the OF

I even tried buying all the catcher equipment and fielding gear mine is in the 90s fielding with 70s blocking and still drops every 2nd or 3rd offspeed pitch and sometimes won't even catch fastballs down the middle multiple pitches Ina row

Showdown pretty much is its own difficulty also. I've pretty much given up on both as they seem to be 40% luck 60% skill

Showdown is pretty laughable,it should be its own difficulty setting in my opinion.. There is no rhyme or reason for some of the things the A.I will do, for example I love when I've taken 5or 8 pitches in a row and there still throwing balls trying to nip the corners SMH. Than on top of that the amount of balls I think I hit perfect or [censored] close that my bat acts like a wet noodle, or hitting at every fielder for 10 outs in a row
