Another thing: I hit free agency recently and got no offers from the teams that I wanted to play. If you reach Spring Training without a team, you can choose where you want to play and after ST ends they will offer you a contract. Just FYI in case the team you want to play doesn't offer you a contract.

Got traded in my sixth season right after the ASG and I was the reigning AL MVP. Ok, last year of contract, but the team who got me wasn't even a contender, so the trade made no sense at all. Besides that, I wanted to stay and it's weird that the team doesn't even come to you to say "hey, wanna renew your contract?".
PS: the Marlins were the team that traded for half season of me. Given the way things usually go in Miami we can say that's a move so stupid it's totally possible that front office would make.
Well, at least I'm not the only one having those issues.
I've played 6 and half years for the Red Sox, half year with the Marlins and now I'm on the Giants with my 99 OVR SS. We have always had great offenses, top 5 almost every year, but all those years we also had bottom 5 pitching staff. It's so annoying because even a 8-run lead is not safe and you're always fighting to stay just a couple games above .500.
The absolute worst was a year when the pitching staff was great for 3 months and we were like 20-25 games above .500 and then it suddenly became one of the worst staffs of the league for the last 2 months, we barely won the division and lost in the ALCS allowing countless runs.
I have won every award possible but I haven't even reached 1 World Series yet. So frustrating.
