It'd be impossible for them not to make a better game since they won't have the start of the baseball season to hype it up; I hope they make some real improvements while sticking to the 2020 formula, since Diamond Dynasty was such a blast. Hopefully, greed won't get in the way, but I don't really trust Sony to put the players first that's only shareholders now.
