The problem is that the Stuff attributes already cost a lot of tokens at relatively low levels, so it feels like progression is extremely slow on Hall of Fame.
How are you guys developing your pitchers in RTTS if you’re aiming for realistic stats? Is there a specific way to spend your tokens or a certain progression strategy that works well without having to lower the difficulty?

That is one heck of a subjective question.

It really depends on how you play your game. You need to choose where to spend on tokens on how you play and how well you play.

Examples: I'm pretty good at locating my pitches. So, I put my tokens into my pitch velo/break before anything. If you're a starter, you might want to spend some on stamina. Maybe you're a low-velo guy who paints the corners. Then you want to dump a bunch into your control.

The stuff I would leave until you have the points, is things like KR/L, discipline, HR/L, HR and all the other stuff that seems to have more to do with simming.

I think after you play a dozen games or so, you will see where you need to improve. But, IMO, those are the big ones ... Control, Velo/Break and Stamina. Everything else you spice to taste.

And, as to your questions about the difficulty, I set mine on dynamic. I'm not good enough to play on HOF, but I end up on all-star (or somewhere around there). I find that is the best way to keep your stats realistic. If you're too good, it jacks it up.

Hope that helps.
