Here is how woefully far behind their competition SDS has fallen.  I just noticed something.  After scoring a goal, a fan behind the goal in the first row had a plate of nachos in his hand.  He jumped up in joy after my avatar player scored, and then realized he dumped nacho sauce on his sweater and starting wiping it off!</p>
<p dir="auto">That's a fan in the stands folks!  That's the level of immersive detail SDS's competition in sports video games has achieved.  The fans are not only there and acting out with the action, but they are engaging in random acts of human spontaneity.</p>
<p dir="auto">The fans in the stands in MLB the Show are there.  They react in general, the there has never been any effort by SDS to have these fans do something like spill concessions.</p>
