You can control the ads on your website. So, as far as I am concerned, if there are ads for illegal operations on your website, then you are just as guilty as those who sponsor the operations and those who leverage them. No matter how much grief I have with SDS, the company absolutely has the legal right to their intellectual property and the right to control how it is used. oh well yes the quick delete and instant post is a different thing - which is what I had said in my comment as well. And there are for sure bots doing that.

But passive/bulk flippers will post up to 19 orders 1 up or 1 under the current. However, they have to cancel each one individually and relist to get back on top.

That is not correct, passive/bulk flippers do this all the time. Bot activity is when they exceed the 20 card limit and are doing immediate 1-ups/canceling that no human can possibly do.

The problem may be that when that kind of spike is happening it is usually an indication that something fishy is going on. You may have inadvertently had multiple market transactions with a known 3rd party stub reseller account.

As a general rule there should not be multiple transaction between any two accounts unless they coordinated the transaction.

Could just be bad luck.

I have no idea how they went about this and I’m not saying they did it the right way - I’m saying it could and should have be as simple as what I laid out. Especially since they clearly did not target the majority of active bots, they just cited stub transfers.

Just like YFK they will blame SDS rather than themselves or the streamers.

Hopefully SDS uses this as a learning experience, doesn't let things get so far out of hand and this game can get back to being the best sports game around. I think that's what we all want.

I think lots of people here what them to retake their place as the top sports game and I know many of my comments are really pleas for them to do something and make that happen. It’s getting very tiring trying to convince them of that! If I didn’t want them to succeed at this I’d be shouting on Twitter or Reddit instead of prodding them on their own forum. I’ve been whining about stub transfers for months but they are so thick. Let’s keep it heading in this direction tho!

Yep. Ohtani or Miz will cost you around $20. The Chase cards that are around 300k stubs are $10.

You're right though, just because they can come up with a reason for cheating (I can definitely see the EXCUSE behind someone buying 3rd party stubs.) doesn't make it right or not against the rules.

Hmmm. Not so sure it’s all that wide since bots are still working the majority of cards Ive interacted with today. It’s hard for me to imagine the creators of such a great game would be as useless and helpless and they come off most of the time. They should be able to see how many balls anyone has ever thrown, hit against, thrown on a Tuesday evening, etc. it should be simple to Round up any account that log in from a new device (android emulator, ahem) or new location then Buy/sell 60x per minute diamond tier equipment or sponsorships, then log back in from their usual device/location and continue playing the game. If anything, it seems totally retardeed how behavior like that on the platform has been going on for so long unchecked. It’s great something is being done about it now, even if it’s financially motivated action. I’m still waiting for them to clean up all the other bots that remain active 24/7 that manipulate the marketplace. Those are the bots and cheaters that actively destroy the marketplace and they should be going after. The people gone after this round of sweeps have little to no impact on the marketplace - all the proof you need to see that is to see how the market has been unfazed by these bans and prices have stayed right where all the active bots are keeping them. Yes, this should deter people from using 3rd party stub sites but it won’t stop the sites from offering the service - which after all, uses other people’s accounts.

100% true! I'll take it a step further. 100% of those fairly banned will find some forum to publicly exclaim how "unfair" their ban was. Like I wrote in another of these recent "whoa is me" threads, words you will NEVER see written here by anyone: "I was banned by SDS for violating their terms of service. I deserved it!"

While account bans allow someone to just create a new account, if you dumped 100+ hours into one account its still a big setback

True, but I can only assume if they tried they probably were successful. While I feel that stubs are significantly overpriced for what you get that still doesn’t mean you can just go buy illegal bot accumulated stubs for a fraction of the price.
