<![CDATA[Why Does My Ability to Hit Change Day to Day?]]>Why is it one day I’m on top form, getting multiple hits and smashing home runs and then the next day I can’t line up the PCI, can’t catch up to fastballs, swing too early on off speed, can’t read the pitch out of the hand, strikes look like balls and balls look like strikes?

And don’t just give me the old: “That’s baseball!”

Like what’s the ACTUAL cause of this constant flip flop in form? Because it feels like it’s all muscle memory and I do the same thing every day yet the results say otherwise.

I’ve honestly never played a game as unpredictable as this and it’s so irritating. The amount of times I have a day free and I look forward to playing and then I pick up a controller and oh no, I guess we’re not playing because I don’t “have it” today.

Every time I go onto this game it’s a complete lottery as to what kind of experience I’m going to have and I’m getting sick of it.

All of that stuff makes a difference. Especially in this game when milliseconds matter.

Plus you have the baseball element. Where sometimes you’re just going to have good or bad luck.

I can't speak to what medical conditions may be affecting your gameplay. 😉

Those kind of issues affect everyone playing all games. Some days you just don't have it.

There is something behind the scene that causes things like this to happen.

I think you have to accept that a bunch of things are coded into this game. Actual physics can't be implemented into the code. This is why you get canned home runs and 'psychic' fielders.

Think of it this way ... imagine the round ball hitting the round bat and the speed/trajectory of the pitch and exactly how many different ways that ball could leave that bat. Trying to put that almost infinite number of outcomes into the game would be impossible.

So, they're going to take a little liberty.
