Shohei ohtani is a unicorn probably the best to ever play the game and you have him in generic batting gloves and batting gear. Pretty sad ! Most the gear is bad but at least you added it. Can u update the adidas batting gloves and make it so we can edit the logo on them, Nike, annd under armor cleats and batting gloves? How about some low Nike cleats? Add something to the game and stop recycling the same game every year. That would be great! I get it DD makes you the money but come on!

Can we please get an updated scans of colson Montgomery and Sean Burke? They still have the same scans from the spring break out program in MLB the show 22! While you’re at it, add some white Sox scans. Braden Montgomery, Noah Schulz, chase meidroth, Edgar quero , Grant Taylor, Hagen smith. etc…..

Can we please get scans for Sal stewart, colt Emerson, Parker messick , AJ ewing, Brandon sproat, gage jump, Braxton ashcraft, Connelly early, and Jake Bennett. Thanks !

Also, why does Charlie condon look like a monster? Most of the created characters are terrible like walker Jenkins but Charlie condon might be the worst I’ve seen. Something out of a Nintendo 64 baseball game

You really think players back then didn't face velocity?you really think people are better, stronger today?
People back then had anywhere from 8-12 children or more cause it was expected that it was lucky if half made it to adulthood, everything was done by hand, people were much stronger then they had to be, now with all the machines and tools at our disposal people are weaker.
Yes they training tools and dedication make today's athletes very capable, but yesterdays athletes would have been the same, cause they'd have that strength from just life back then.

Go watch a doc called 'fastball'. They use modern tech to determine how fast everyone's fastball actually was.

Guys like Walter Johnson were throwing something like 95mph. He was considered the fastest of his era.

Nolan Ryan came out at something like 109mph.

First of all, technology in the era of Nolan Ryan wasn't at the era of today. The radar guns (or whatever) used at the time inflated the velocities of pitches.

Walter Johnson played in an era were the Ottoman Empire still existed. How do you expect a guy who played in the same era as Pitcher Babe Ruth to throw about 95 mph? He ATLEAST threw 85+ mph, but 95 was considered impossible during Walter Johnson's career.

Ohtani isn't the best ever, not even top 10, don't get me wrong he is one of the best players in the game today and he is a great player .....but
he has not had a 200 hit season a 150+ runs or ribs in a season not hit 40 doubles nor double digit triples(though this is a lesser one) hasn't hit higher than .310.
For all the sports writers comparisons to Ruth, he hasn't come close to having half of a Ruth season
sure Ohtani has his 50 homer seasons and pitched too but when Ruth had his 50 homer seasons he also had 200+ hits 150+runs 150+ribs 150 + walks and hit .350-.370+
Aaron Judge has actually come closer to " Ruthian seasons" than Ohtani has.

This is the most idiotic post ever. Babe Ruth wouldn’t make the majors in 2026. He couldn’t hit a pitch in the 90s let alone over 100. Nor could he hit that velocity while trying to hit all the other movement coming his way.

If Ohtani played in the 1920s since he’s not black I assume they might let him play. He’d hit 100 homers and throw an endless number of perfect games with the stuff he throws.

As for the actual post. Doubt they’ll pay money for new equipment vs former players if they have to pay for equipment. I’ll ignore his rant about face scans again. He knows the answer from SDS so he’s not well in the head.

The opposing teams might aswell would call Ohtani racial slurs and forfeit games because he was pitching/batting in the game.
