Exactly this. I've never gotten too high or low about this game. I know it has its issues but I love baseball. I can't do franchise anymore since I have no team thanks to a selfish billionaire (#FJF) moving them.
But I love baseball and DD has been solid for me year in and year out. I even special ordered my own ballcap IRL for my team. The company's response to the glitch has me questioning whether to ever purchase the game again, however.
I'm incredibly disappointed.

No. But legal may need to guve them the ok to tell the community that people were banned.

You are correct. On the flipside, there are legal ramifications for not providing the product the consumer paid for. Maybe the TOS gets them out of it, but the TOS works both ways, and consumers have protections too.

Legal and PR departments can still advise on mass communications in the meantime as well.

With all due respect, that is a cop-out answer. All they had to say was something to the effect of, We are looking into the WBC Glitch and are evaluating next steps. Then at least we would know it's not being ignored and swept under the rug
