Instead the code was for distance based upon a number of factors and if the distance exceeded the wall then it was a home run.</p>
<p dir="auto">I recently moved the fences back in my created stadium because I was seeing an inordinate number of home runs.  Instead of fewer home runs I started seeing longer home runs.  Players with 40's and 50's power were hitting 480 and 490 foot home runs.</p>
<p dir="auto">I wonder if part of the gameplay changes they referenced in the franchise promo video was there is now a dice roll for a home run.  If the result comes up home run then regardless of player or stadium dimensions it's a home run.</p>
