If we were able to complete the mural collection WITHOUT that Santana card, we most likely won't need that Santana card for any big collections right? At that point the card would be an "extra" that I wouldn't really "need"?

Odds are the j ram should be all u need like the spring breakout lets say where u only need griffin. Or new threads when u only need bichette.
