Franchise definitely needed help on that front from what I have seen but I can't believe for an instant that they would not also do roster updates for DD. Since it is under the Franchise heading of the patch notes (Thanks for making me go hunt it down as nobody mentioned where the info came from) I assume it is just an update to Franchise Updates.

I'm with Pergo, I think the key phrase he is Live Roster which you can choose when you start a new franchise. It was apparently out of date.

Isn't the "live roster" separate? It mentions transactions and player movement, which is not a DD thing. It's also in the Franchise section of the patch notes.

That is pure greed. There is no transparency and how can you change major part of the game without any explanation.
