About as close as I’ve seen. yesterday, this would’ve been an 50/50 call and would be fine with either call. I will say this new zone does seem to be helping me with waiting for better pitches early in the count.

I just struck out on sinkers at the top corner that literally barely touch. It affects us more than just visually. It’s almost impossible to hit certain pitches at this time.

Like Santander turned on a sweeper that was a touch inside perfect perfect and it flew it’s just weird being rewarded for swinging outside the box. Even tho yes I get it was just a visual change I know somebody is gonna say the game still plays the same it just looks different it still feels weird tho hitting what we used to know as balls for homeruns.

I can’t imagine how difficult this is for big league hitters. If the seams of the ball touch the zone, like just over the low outside corner, it’s a strike… on a virtually unhittable pitch. I think it’s going to be catastrophic for this game.
