I’ve been dealing with a controller input bug for 3 days now and it’s making the game basically unplayable. At the “Press Any Button” screen, nothing registers unless I turn my controller off and back on. Once I do that, the game starts double registering inputs and the menus go crazy, constantly selecting things or backing out on their own.

In game, my pitcher is constantly bearing down like the left trigger is being pressed even when I’m not touching it. It also causes things like quick pitching to trigger on its own. I’m not pressing anything and it still acts like there’s input being held.

On top of that, the menu delay and input lag are really bad. I can’t reliably navigate menus or change settings because it keeps skipping through options or selecting things on its own.

I have already hard reset my ps5, reinstalled and it still is doing it 3 days later.

I've submitted support tickets one with video on what it is doing.

I just want to play the game but right now it literally is unplayable.

Thanks

I only keep my controller on my desk, one night it was working and the next day it just started hapenning. I recieved an email from a support ticket and was instructed to uninstall again and disconnect my internet. I removed my ethernet, forgot it and reconnected, installed and same thing. Uninstalled again, removed wifi this time, reinstalled, same thing. I don't think there is anything else I can do on my end...

Alcohol wipes, you can find them in the pharmacy section of stores, clean the buttons, also if you know someone who is experienced at taking the controller apart and putting it back together again without breaking it.....( I have a neighbor that does mine every couple months)
