<![CDATA[Bots on market]]>So all morning i been putting in buy orders and instantly they get out bid by 1 stubs with 2 orders... this something new SDS is doing to raise prices?..and always 2 bids with 1 stubs higher.. no matter how many bids I put in this is happening

I hope they figure something out but once the integrity of the game is in question for me I am losing interest. Huge fan of the game, started playing in 23 and my drive to compete is gone. I just mean there are times when an order is canceled and relisted WHILE you're putting one in. Like the speed of cancel to relist is unreal. But like I said - I never have trouble getting a card so it is what it is.

Yeah that’s kind of what I was getting at.

Now granted - some of the “bots” could’ve been putting in a bunch of instant 1 less/more bids but I’m like you, if I want to sell or buy something quick I’m on there trying to getter done.

Now multiply that by population playing. High chances it’s not a bot.

Why do so many people assume it’s “bots” 1-upping bids? Like it’s impossible for a human to do that. I do it all the time and I’m just 1 dude. When there 100’s or even 1000’s of people looking at these cards at any given time, this bid activity can easily be human.
And if it was just bots bidding each other up 1 stub at a time, what would the bot owner be gaining? I have yet to not get a card I wanted by placing a normal bid that was like 10 stubs above/below the low/high bid.

I do that all the time on PlayStation - I don’t use the app to sell but when I want to sell something quick I’ll cancel and relist very quickly until it’s sold. Up to a certain threshold but I just want my cash money now hah.

I’m probably a person people hate cause I’ll drive it low until it’s sold, change from 1, to 50, to 100 etc

Either way, those usually clear and you're able to get whatever card you need - even if annoying.

They did a huge restriction, and accidentally restricted hundreds (or more) people who were doing nothing wrong.
You had to put in tickets, and they eventually got back to you (took like 4-5 days for me).

It just seems that they aren't able to properly identify a bot vs. a human. I've seen the same stuff happening with the immediate and repeated undercuts that no human can possibly be doing.

This is exactly what I do. 1 up an order. Constantly refresh until someone 1 ups me. 1 up them. Cancel my previous order and repeat. This can be done very quickly on the app. If multiple people are doing this, you get what you’re describing. I’ve experienced this many times for several years. Believe what you want, but this could absolutely be people and not bots.

This wasn't people, this was 2 orders instantly at 1 stub over yours then an order 1 stub over that, refresh and it's another 2 orders and 1 order each 1 stub over and it repeated every 10 seconds or so, they were up from 27100 to over 29 k in about 5 minutes, I'm used to competing with ppl in the market, this wasn't that

I have a strong feeling now that this game is not gonna last much longer, have doubts now that it even makes it to the end of the season.
This was the most fun I've had beginning of the year in a long time, could of been a great year but it's just falling apart in every area.
