The food prices were absurd though. The burger was like $12, so a little high for a basic burger, but the bottle of water was $5 lol. [censored] that.

Back in the day, you could go to a Twins game for less than $10. Nowadays, tickets are double that price.

My nearest stadium is Dodgers stadium. Every game is expensive, regardless how good the seats are. Like $60 for nose bleeds against bottom barrel teams. That’s absurd in my opinion.

Now if I drive an hour further to Angels Stadium, I can get tickets for $12. But is it worth driving an hour further with gas prices, time, and now I’m only seeing Mike Trout at an Angels game, where I could be seeing the NL All-Star team at a Dodgers game.

So it really depends.

I miss living in Denver where I could get rooftop or rockpile tickets for $5-$10 and traffic/parking wasn’t even a thing compared to what I’d have deal with going to a Dodgers or Angels game.

So yeah, it really just depends what stadium you’re going to.

This is purely relative. I've only been to 3 ballparks, and the ticket price was quite different in all three.

And, just for reference, crazy expensive seats at the Rogers Centre go between $1000 and $2000 each depending on the day of the week and the opposing team. 'Decent' seats are about $80-$120 each with the same factors.

This is the complete opposite of Toronto. Rogers owns the team, the stadium AND the TV network.

They are doing everything they can to turn the Rogers Centre into a true baseball stadium and make the whole thing an experience.

Also the fact that a huge portion of the outfield is a bar and tickets are $20 doesn't hurt either. 😉
