<![CDATA[Instantly outbid by one stub. Bots?]]>Often when I am buying or selling a card of value i am either outbid (or under cut) by one stub.

It happens far too quickly and repeatedly for it to be humans, but I don't really understand why bots do this.

I just tested it again trying to buy a card and i'm currently at 12 times i have been instantly outbid by one and counting.

I might be missing an obvious reason (please enlighten me) as to why this happens (and why SDS allow it), but it's infuriating to spend 20 minutes dancing this dance just to buy or sell a card.

I'm sure many others do the same. It often keeps me from putting an equal bid in at the same time as someone else.

And I’m still buying cards in quantities of over 15 at a time. But that’s like my opinion man.

In between I cancel my previous orders. This can be done very quickly on the app. I’m not saying it’s not bots, but I think people underestimate people on this app.

Bots? on Tue, 21 Apr 2026 13:21:37 GMT]]>It's annoying for sure. The way I approach the one up or down is to have a time limit before I think about relisting depending on how fast the card is moving. Sometimes it takes a bit to work through the queue. If you continously relist it destroys margins and it takes a while for margins to come back up again. I'm finding out patience is the best weapon against one uppers or downers. If you get mixed in with them you will always get frustrated. A card selling one per minute or little under is the sweet spot, a pretty decent spread with a enough movement to keep turning over cards.

I see that at times, and I believe that is pretty evident of a bot. Especially on selling a card.
