It would be absolutely great to force everyone to think and use their own shifts, but they’ll never do it because then everyone would be complaining about how long it takes and they lost games because they ran out of time.

Most games online are defaulted to lowest common denominator so they can attract the largest group of players. They build in as many crutches as they can without making it too easy.

You can turn it off in the Main Settings screen and it will stay off.
