Also, the unable to trade certain players needs a patch.

I respect the realism you're going for, but half the fun of Franchise is rosterbaiting.

Also, even with force trades on, you can't deal someone for the first part of the year if they just inked a new contract.

I believe they become tradable June 1st, at least in real life.
