Where's the hype for Set 3?

Here we are, about to lose the use of most of our Set 1 cards for the time being. WBC Trout, WBC Ohtani, Chipper, etc. I understand that SDS is trying something new with "Seasons".
But... We're less than 4 days away from the end of Set 1, and all SDS is hyping is "Double XP". How about getting me excited for some new cards? I know we'll get some new All Star cards and HRD, but what else?
I was hoping that SDS would be out there on Twitter (or even better, here on the Forum) selling us on the new content. Instead... crickets.I think most of you know that I'm an MLBTS fanboy. But man, it's hard to continue my enthusiasm.

I was thinking the same thing, then I checked twitter this afternoon and nothing but tumbleweeds. Maybe tomorrow.

Wonder how many card previews we will get on twitter, they have confirmed a stream on Friday so they may hold back the reveals for set 3 until then.
Maybe we'll see some Topps Now or POTM cards previewed on Twitter

With a roughly hour long stream scheduled for Friday before season 3 I am not sure how many big reveals we will actually get via twitter. They might hold most of them back for the stream.

True, but we have to remember that this is probably a 3 day work week for them and today was their Monday.

True, but we have to remember that this is probably a 3 day work week for them and today was their Monday.
Yeah, I get it. And truthfully itâs really no biggie. Iâm usually pretty optimistic about the game and am not super worried about the loss of Set 1. Buuuut, it is fun to get psyched about a new program. I canât think of a time in recent memory other than launch when so much was being released at the same time. If I was a betting man, Iâd say we will get at least 150 new diamond on Friday. Would be cool to see juuuuust a few ahead of time.

@Ericulous1_PSN and I are two of the most positive people you'll find out here. I know I'm being a pain about this, but I'm joking. I'm just a little disappointed. This is the first Season where we're losing cards (I know we're not REALLY losing ALL functionality with them, but MOST).
All I know as of 9:00 a.m. on Thursday is that we're getting 5 new bosses. Um... OK. I know it's a holiday week. But knowing how negative the forum has been on "Sets" this year, give me something to cheer about.
By 3:00 EST tomorrow, all of this will be forgotten.
P.S. I WILL NEVER FORGET.
P.S.S. @Blind_Bleeder and I need some lead time to set up our spreadsheets!

@arvcpa_PSN - my friend, if there is ANYONE on this forum who needs no disclaimer about being positive, itâs you. As you are keen to point out, there are several more and, when taken with your posting body of work, one can quickly deduce that you are just a positive person (again, several like that around here and , Iâm from the South so when I say several, I mean 2 score at least) and you should let the disclaimers go. Let me try in my best accounting parlanceâŠyou, sir, keep in the black with your attitudes and maxims - youâve always avoided the red!
This said, it does seem strange indeed to see all of the Independence Day stuff AFTER the celebration is past. Some one said earlier that âthey phoned it inâ and I love this expression but I feel like they âphoned inâ alrightâŠto take the week off sick!
