Deal or no deal?

I started playing an individual online. After I finish batting in the top of first (no connection problems) he or she pauses the game and runs their timer down to 10 seconds. After that the game had so many connection issues. The game would stop for 15 seconds sometimes longer and not just once in a while but every pitch. Is this a deal or just a random bad experience?

I’ve noticed some weird connection issues this year. Lots of slowdown and random disconnects. Never had that problem in 19. I use a wired connection so I’d imagine my connection is stable.
