Baez Finest Card Error..?

I was wondering if I’m the only one confused why the Baez Finest 99 card has him with number 23. I know it’s a flashback and it has him as a Cub on it…just curious if there is a reason he isn’t wearing his #9 for the Cubs vs his #23 which is is wearing for the Mets.

Thoughts?

They mess up the numbers a lot on FB and legends.

Dang. That bums me out. Silly I know, but #9 is my favorite number and he was my favorite Cub so it’s like salt in the wound all over again. Lol

I assume that it is because the number is tied to the player and not the card. So all versions of Baez use his current number.

Th same thing happened with Pujols. His Cardinals flashback card apparently uses 55, his Dodgers number.
