OK...so this is definitely not a something is wrong post and for the "git gud" guys, that is what I am trying to do. Do you guys have any tips on what to do about seeing eye singles? With this being my first year I feel like I have improved almost everywhere, but the biggest thing eating my lunch lately are seeing eye singles.
Fairly often I am in games where it just seems like my opponent never makes hard contact but the ball just gets through consistently. My infield is normally Chipper, Turner, Albies/Jackie and Vlad (AS). I get it happening sometimes, but it seems like they can just string three or four of these together. It honestly almost feels like my fielders are in slow motion when it happens...off the bat I think "easy out" and then I am like "whoa I couldn't get to that".
I am just trying to figure out if it is something about the way I am pitching.
