Normal or power swing?
-
Hi guys, I just watched a video on YT on chanell Movie Gaming TV, where he speaks about using normal swing (X button) 99% of time and he has good results. That would be good for me, cause I am for some reason much more effective with normal than power swing.
My question is, is normal swing affected by players card stats? If I have 87 Gary Sanchez and he has lot of power and weaker contact stats, is it better to power swing with him to get the best out of him, or will he use this power anytime, even if I use only normal swing? -
Power Swinging makes your pci smaller and your vision rating goes down to during the swing, and you have to have good timing with power swing or else you will pop up or ground out or strikeout more often. But if you have good timing and get the center of your pci on the ball you will receive a boost in power and exit velocity on those hits.

Normal online.
Power offline veteran or rookie.
Power 50% if ahead in count all star or higher offline. -
Well I was a power always guy but latest patch killed it.

Normal swing 99.9% of the time hardly ever power swing unless I’m ahead like 3-0 in the count and I really need a run.

Rarely use power in HOF/legend. PCI is small enough already.

Feels like everyone against me is using power swing, I’ve given up so many homeruns it’s unreal

I feel like I hit plenty of HRs with normal and make poor contact with Power. So I always do normal.
Also SDS said that you cant get perfect perfect with Contact swing, but you can. So I have been using that more with very good results including a no doubter.

Normal swing almost 100% of time. Would use contact occasionally in '19, but it's so easy not to strike out in '20 it's not worth it. Just hit 5 HR's in a 5 inning game on all normal swings. Solid contact and exit velocity have more to do with HR's, so better off with more PCI to work with.
