Met him in 2000 and have his autograph on a ball.
When he passed, it was so tough to take.
Haven't used him in this game yet.

I actually benched Griffey in my final showdown because my roster was loaded with good RH hitters.

No joke, I got nearly swept my first run. Missed every challenge except the get-Griffey-Buhner-Cruz and then I lost to Miller in the first showdown without scoring a run. Never had a showdown go so bad. On my second one, I didn't lose any challenge. Went into final showdown 15-15. Leadoff guy singles. I pinch-run Griffey, steal second and win two batters later.
