We are?
So you’re saying they’re making his 2017 season a gold?

But he didn't get a rookie FB this year which is my point, also it won't be a 99 sadly.

That doesn’t show any card art though.
There’s no way they could make an 8 fWAR season be a gold card.

They better make it based off his "bad" september, his rookie season is at worst a 91

He didn't participate in either HRD or ASG.
He didn't really deserve either Topps Now or POTM.
He didn't really do all that much in the Postseason.
He career doesn't yet warrant a Signature Series card.
He didn't warrant a Finest. Not really sure what card you think he should have had.
I definitely agree he didn't do anything to deserve a 2019 card but he should of had some sort of FB 2017 card. He is a big name and SDS could of made some doe off of it.

THe flashback in that twitter post doesn't actually reflect his true 2017 season and everyone knows that. Devs are giving those cards out as Golds because they don't want everyone having a diamond lol

It doesn’t even say that it’s a 2017 card though. It would be incredibly dumb if they made his 2017 season a gold. Maybe it’ll just be his 2018 season, which I think would be still be a diamond as well, but it’s the only thing I can think of.
If we’re being honest, none of Judges seasons so far should be less than a diamond.

Honestly, I don't think they would have made "doe" off it. Would it be cool to have? Absolutely! But the first response people would have to the card would be ThE vIsIoN is to low for HOF.

Chris Davis had a lower K% in 2013 than Judge did in 2017, so yeah obviously the vision would make him not very desirable to most people playing on HoF.

It would be the same card as his live series ?

That's not really true, and we have a good parallel example in Pete Alonso. His LS and his Finest are nothing alike, but both are based on the 2019 season.

Well, his card was a Gold card at the end of the 2017 season. He did not get moved up to Diamond until the beginning of the 2018 season. Even then I think it was only an 85.

52 homeruns 208 K’s. .284 avg it would be his live series card like I said before lmao.

But we know no Rookie has ever gone diamond in their first year of DD, so is what the LS card ends the year at really relevant?
-
There are tons of Rookie diamonds in the game for players that either never became diamond or currently aren't. I say who cares, give the people a diamond Rookie Judge and arbitrarily jack up the vision a little bit to make it more usable.

To the competitive player, no he would not of been desirable. However, there is far more players who sit anywhere from 699 and under compared to 700+. He also had the most jersey sold I believe in 2018 and 2019 so he is a big name and a lot of individuals would of went after a high diamond version of him.

I agree with this. Pete Alonso did fantastic things this past year and look at his finest card. Keeping in mind he had a 26% K rate and 2017 Judge had a 31% K rate. The man has 83 visions on his card with 92 contact R and 80 contact L. He batted .266 versus R and .240 versus L. Judge in 2017 batted .298 versus R and .230 versus L. They would be very similar cards IMO.

Sure, but I'm thinking in relative terms here. Often the most expensive cards are the most desirable competitive ones. The only exceptions are the things like early event rewards or LS gatekeepers. I'm sure a lot of players would want a high version of him, but he wouldn't be expensive enough that SDS would make a lot of money off it. I was never saying it wouldn't be popular or that it shouldn't exist.
