Have to "unsquad or unequip" to sell???

I know its been posted here before, but I'm trying to sell a card and it says I have to unsquad or unequip him. Subbed him out of my DD rotation, no events, no BR.....HELP please!!!

Do you have other lineups? Enter and back out and enter Events again in case he was in your lineup the last time you played Events and it just needs to reset (maybe BR too I don't play it)
