I don't see why anyone would start harper over let's say, Walker
They just did a Walker vs. Harper. Larry was better in every stat but Power vs. Right. lol
yea i dont get why they did that. They were like hey guys heres your brand new card but stick with Walker hes better
I mean, yeah, but as you know, attributes don't mean much once we get to these 99's. I'll take Harper and see how he works for me, regardless of the attributes. If I don't like him, no loss, I can sell.
of course i understand. It just didnt make sense to have a comparison like that. Mannnnnnnnnyyyyyyyy ppl care about attributes as you should know and did nothing to want the card in that manner
Yeah, that's true. I had a guy arguing here that card A was better than card B because Card A had +4 contact. When people make those kind of decisions based on a couple points of contact, they're clearly assessing cards the wrong way, in my very humble and often overly and needlessly aggressive opinion.
yea its like eye candy. Myself im a sucker for card art. If im on the fence between two players i generally go to name recognition and card art to break the tie. Like for instance that Jimmy Rollins card is sick looking but i have not hit well with him at all and keep holding off selling him even though i know i should. Love the speed but if i cant get on base whats the point

I hit ok with him, high 200's, but he's not close to my best hitter. That being said, I have him for his defense at the most important IF spot in baseball. he's saved me enough runs to justify his B.A.

i wish that was the case for me. Really havent had that many opportunities to make plays. He made one OMG that was awesome play. No errors. Just seeing his price tag still that high and me only having 40k stubs seemed like the move to sell. Im a 96 OVR and was looking at Tramall
