At first I thought this was just an anomaly but I’ve been noticing it more and more as I keep playing event games. I use meter pitching, sometimes when I’m starting games the meter speed will randomly speed up which causes me to leave pitches in very bad spots. This never happens to me in RS games. Is anyone else dealing with this? It’s starting to get very aggravating

I don’t have any idea what pitches you are using but lately i am trying to used the change up less and less because of the same problem.

change ups = home runs has been my experience

MLB20 is an absolute nightmare nightmare online. Some times i play someone and it runs smoothly and feels like an offline game, other games(most of the time) things are completely off, pitch speeds are faster than they are on Legend, despite it being on AS, players run around the ball, baserunners run past the bases, pitch meter is less responsive. I'm sure it is all input lag related because the game is trash online. I have no clue how anyone can actually enjoy playing hundreds of games online. I have played hundreds of games online including both RS and Events and i find no enjoyment, but SDS insists on including online stat requirements, so it is a necessary evil.

This is why you don’t use meter pitching in online play. You should learn to use pure analog. Once you get used to that pitching input you’ll find that your pitchers will be far more consistent with pitch location.

Tried that but I think the Bluetooth on my PS4 is not right so the controller sometimes spazzes out. Therefore when I use analog the controller releases early on pitches by itself, so I’m a prisoner to meter until I get a new PS4 unfortunately

Pitching is completely random this year to increase homeruns and make everyone feel good
