I went flawless for the first time ever!! I can't believe it actually happened. I got really lucky in a few games, but I'll gladly take that flawless banner! My lineup was definitely underwhelming, but my pitching took me the distance. If you're interested in my lineup, it's below. If not, thanks for even bothering to read this far. HYPE!!!
Lineup: 78 Joc 76 Jonathan Schoop 99 Eddie (tombstones all around) 91 Wander Franco 74 Christian Walker 81 Austin Meadows 72 Billy Hamilton 75 Kurt Suzuki Bench bat: 80 Nelson Cruz
Bullpen: 70 Tim Hill 75 Diego Castillo 75 John Franco 77 David Robertson 78 Vida 79 Robb Nen 81 Ryan Pressley
I also used 79 David Price for a few starts, and used my common/bronze pitchers during blowout games.
And yet I struggle to get to 9 wins lol...good for you though! It may be smart using Cruz as a bench bat

I had to decide between benching him for Hamilton's defense or keeping a horrible defensive outfield. I'm glad I put Hamilton in center to help out Joc and Meadows.

Hamilton is glitchy as a switch bat. Kinda like Mondesi with a little worse attributes! But my BR saver has been Schoop as well. He comes up clutch but can't hit otherwise lol
Congratulations. Which pitchers were lights out and which got hit around a bit? I haven't used Pressley or Hill much but I've had success with Castillo and blue and struggled mightily with Franco, Robertson, nen, and price. Similarly for hitters, I've done quite well with joc but haven't used any of the others much

Thank you!
Castillo definitely can get hit around some. Since he throws hard and only has the slider for offspeed, people sit fastball. Pressley was surprisingly good, but I limited his use due to his pitch selection. Franco and Nen are usually must gets for me in BR drafts, because they've always performed well for me.
As far as hitters, Christian Walker was a very pleasant surprise at 1st. Had 2 HR during the run and hit over .500. Wander Franco was hitting gaps, and I'm pretty sure SS Eddie heard me talking [censored] about him being my highest OVR selection and proved me 100% wrong. Billy Hamilton was surprisingly Ichiro-esque, with a lot of hits down the line and bloop singles, which set Cruz up very well since I was batting Hamilton 7th with my pitcher spot 8th. None of my hitters were absolutely outstanding, other than Joc with his lifetime 1.800 OPS for me, but everybody was extremely solid.

That's good to know, maybe I'll give nen and Franco more of a shot since their struggles aren't in a huge sample size.
Joc and other power hitters like that have always been great for me in BR but it's good to hear about guys like walker and hamilton

Yeah, Walker and Hamilton were surprising, honestly. I only stuck Hamiltom in center to help my defense, but he pulled his weight on offense too. I'm convinced that finding glitchy bronzes is a key to going flawless. I knew you needed good bronze pitching to do that, but it didn't occur to me that having good bronzes on offense would be just as helpful.

I haven't used those bronzes but i agree that bronze players can make a great BR team. Franmil Reyes and Merton Hiura are two of my favorite bronze hitters and there are a bunch of good bronze RPs, with Britton being the king of them in my eyes
