RP stats mean nothing and they suck

Now I know why people always bring in starters in relief instead of actual relief pitchers. So many times I’ve been cruising along with my starting pitcher and then I bring in a relief pitcher in the 8th or 9th and bam, they give up multiple runs. It just doesn’t make any sense. Guy will have 2 or 3 hits (Usually all solo HRs) in 7 or 8 innings against me and then all of a sudden in Bot 9 he will undoubtedly hit a walk off HR and beat me 3-2 or 4-3 when I bring in a RP. It’s just depressing knowing that I have to basically cheat and bring in another starter instead of being able to bring in Fingers or Wagner to finish off my opponent

I guess if you can’t beat em, join em. Consider me now a part of the “bring in starters for relief“ club
